Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Kemetvra Security collects, uses, protects and shares information when you use our website, customer portal, licensing services and security software.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account, request a trial, purchase a license, contact support or manage a protected site. This may include your name, email address, country or region, company name, account credentials, order information and license details.
Our licensing and security services may also process technical information needed to provide and protect the service, including site URL or installation identifier, WordPress and PHP versions, plugin or theme metadata relevant to vulnerability checks, license status, seat activation data, IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, security events and service diagnostics.
Payment card data is processed by the payment provider used at checkout. Kemetvra does not intentionally store full payment-card numbers or card security codes in the Kemetvra License Cloud.
2. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; issue, activate and administer trials and paid licenses; deliver software and signed updates; provide cloud intelligence, vulnerability and security services; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain service reliability; provide support; meet legal and accounting obligations; and improve Kemetvra products.
Where permitted, we may send operational emails such as account notices, trial-expiry reminders, license notifications, security alerts and important service changes. Marketing communications, where used, will include an appropriate way to opt out.
3. Security and confidentiality
We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss or disclosure. Sensitive service credentials are protected using access controls and encryption or secure hashing where appropriate. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so customers should also protect their account credentials and WordPress administrator access.
4. When information may be shared
We may share information with service providers that help us operate hosting, email, payment, analytics, support, fraud prevention or other business systems, but only as reasonably necessary for those services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or Kemetvra, to investigate abuse, or as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger, financing or sale of assets.
We do not sell customer account data as a standalone commercial product.
5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, administer licenses and customer accounts, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, maintain security records and meet legal, tax or accounting requirements. Retention periods may differ by data type. Information may be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer required.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of certain personal information, and to object to certain processing. You may also update many account details directly through My Account. Requests may be subject to identity verification and applicable legal exceptions.
You can manage browser cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, checkout or account functions from working correctly.
7. International processing
Kemetvra and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you are located. Where required, we use appropriate contractual, technical or organizational safeguards for cross-border processing.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal or operational changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
9. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, use the Kemetvra Support or Contact page and identify your request as a privacy matter. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity before acting on a request.
